The Redding League of Women Voters announced it will host a free informational meeting on Saturday, Sept. 27 to discuss what’s on the Nov. 4 special election ballot.
Presenters will cover two items voters will see on the ballot, according to the announcement.
Local legislation Measure A, which proposes a 1% transactions and use tax in Redding to fund local services.
California Proposition 50, which seeks to authorize temporary partisan changes to congressional district maps in response to Texas’ partisan redistricting.

The event is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Riverfront Playhouse Theater at 1950 California St. in Redding.
