MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Human remains found in the Morgantown area last week have been identified as a former Garrett County man.
Andrew Tyler Sweitzer, 33, was identified Friday by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said Sweitzer had been living in Morgantown.
Construction workers found the remains June 2 in a wooded area between Scott Avenue and Smithtown Road.
The cause of Sweitzer’s death remains under investigation by the West Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
