Police arrested an 18-year-old man today after he allegedly brandished what appeared to be a rifle and threatened a restaurant employee at Ewa Town Center in Ewa Beach.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, officers responded to a report of a terroristic threatening incident around 11 :12 a.m. today. A female restaurant employee was delivering a food order when she was confronted by the suspect and his female companion. The pair reportedly became upset, claiming the order was incorrect.
Police said the male suspect then brandished what appeared to be a rifle and threatened the employee.
District 8 patrol officers quickly located and arrested the suspect on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
