Toll rates for three bridges that carry traffic over the Ohio River between Louisville and southern Indiana are set to increase July 1, according to a news release.
RiverLink, the company in charge of tolling in the region, announced toll rates will increase by 2.5% for the upcoming annual cycle. Tolling is in place on the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge, Lewis and Clark Bridge and the Abraham Lincoln Bridge.
Under a resolution between Kentucky and Indiana passed in 2013, toll rates are adjusted each year by 2.5% unless inflation is higher. The Consumer Price Index, the metric the resolution uses to measure inflation, was 2.3% in April 2025, so 2.5% is the adjustment for 2025.
The new rates will range from $2.68 for passenger cars to $16.01 for trucks with five or more axles. Rates are dependent on the size of a vehicle and whether the driver has a prepaid account or transponder, which allows drivers to pay without stopping.
