Apr. 26—Robert Sanborn Pinkham Jr. Robert Sanborn Pinkham Jr, 97, passed away peacefully on April 19th, 2025, reuniting with the love of his life, Connie, who preceded him in death five years ago. Bob was a mechanical engineer/manager at Sandia National Laboratories, known for his out-of-the-box thinking, and dedication. Preceded by the death of his beloved daughter Jeannie, Bob is survived by his two remaining children, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his adventurous heart, sense of humor, and love for his family, including the many caregivers and friends from the Woodmark, who he often referred to as his other family. His legacy lives on in every sunrise over the mountains and every balloon rising in the New Mexico sky.
