NORTH HAMPTON — A rollover crash involving a travel trailer shut down multiple lanes of Interstate 95 southbound Thursday afternoon, prompting a two-hour cleanup and investigation by state and local officials.
At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 18, state troopers from the Troop A barracks responded to reports of an overturned travel trailer near mile marker 7.6. According to a preliminary investigation, police said a 74-year-old woman from Waukesha, Wisconsin, was driving a 2025 Nissan Frontier pickup truck towing a 2025 Grand Design travel trailer when the trailer began to sway. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the trailer to overturn and come to rest on its side, blocking several lanes of traffic, police said.
