The community is invited to attend the Greg Bassett Circle Unveiling Ceremony on Monday, April 28, from 2-3 p.m. at the downtown roundabout, located at the intersection of Riverside Drive, West Carroll Street and Mill Street in downtown Salisbury. This public event will serve as a moment of remembrance, celebration and appreciation for Bassett’s dedication to Salisbury and his many contributions through storytelling, civic engagement and leadership with the Greater Salisbury Committee.
“We are proud to honor Greg Bassett’s legacy in a way that will forever remind residents and visitors of the difference one individual can make,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “His passion for community and commitment to Salisbury set a powerful example.”
