The wet week of Central Florida has at least one more day with scattered showers in store, but mostly south of the I-4 corridor on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain chances across the region are from 40%-50%, the NWS in Melbourne stated with higher chances to the south including east Orange County, Osceola and Brevard.
“There will be a better chance for showers and storms along and northwest of the I-4 corridor this afternoon compared to yesterday,” forecasters said.

Highs remain in the upper 80s for the area.
On the beach, high astronomical tides will cause the wave runup to hit near the dune line during the early afternoon high tides today and into
the weekend.
The rip current risk is high, and could remain so into the weekend.
