A second 19-year-old man was indicted by an Oahu Grand Jury today in connection with Saturday’s at Zablan Beach in Nanakuli that left a 17-year-old boy brain dead.
Suspect Chystyn Williams Aipoalani, 19, was charged with attempted murder in the second degree. His bail is set at $500, 000.
On Wednesday, an Oahu grand returned an indictment 19-year-old Kaison Kaholo for second-degree attempted murder, carrying or use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and place to keep a firearm.
The shooting after a party Saturday morning happened when occupants from two vehicles exchanged gunfire before fleeing the park. Kaholo is accused to be the driver and shooter in one of the cars.
The 17-year-old victim is Kamakea Iaea, who was declared brain dead after he was found bleeding in the road. Kaholo is being held without bail and faces up to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
Kaholo is detained at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.
