Indiana State Teachers Association Day of Action at the Statehouse
Public school teachers rallied on Monday, April 14, for a day of action organized by the state’s largest teachers union. Their focus was a proposed property tax reform bill that would cut funding for public schools and shift some of it to charter schools.
Earlier in the session, on March 17, Statehouse attendees rallied for property tax reform.
And earlier, in February, the Indiana Coalition of Public Education hosted its day of action at the Statehouse.

On Jan. 30, the Indiana Youth Group and American Civil Liberties Union hosted their annual LGBTQ+ Statehouse Day.
