Spring Hill police are searching for a suspect after a 17-year-old was shot and killed in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Officers were called to the Grand Reserve apartments on Commonwealth Drive at about 8:15 p.m. on Aug. 10, the department said in a message on Facebook.
The victim was shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
“Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the victim, mourning this unimaginable loss,” the department said in its Facebook post.
Police have not yet named the victim.
Investigators believe the shooter fled the scene in a blue sedan, though no suspects have been identified.
