In documents filed on Tuesday by Eastern Adams Regional Police, Tireman is charged with a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle allegedly stemming from his disappearance.
The charging documents state that Tireman had left home round 9 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, allegedly to put in job applications at local businesses.
The car belonged to a relative of Tireman, according to the charging documents, who texted him around 2 p.m. that day to ask why he hadn’t returned. Tireman allegedly responded, telling them that he was continuing to fill out applications.
Tireman did not respond to later texts, according to the affidavit. The relative then got a notification from their credit card of a $143 charge for fuel at a Park Heights, Maryland, gas station, according to the affidavit.
The relative told police that Tireman only had permission to use her car locally and for a few hours, according to the affidavit, and asked police on Monday to file the charges for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Tireman has had no contact with the relative since 2 p.m. on Friday, according to the documents.
Police said that Tireman is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 180 lbs., and has blue eyes with brown hair.
Tireman was believed to be in Maryland and headed toward the Baltimore area, according to the news release.
