A Sullivan County man was arrested May 13 and accused of possessing obscene video files involving children under 10.
New York State Police said Andrew Grace, 26, of Livingston Manor, was charged with possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years of age, a felony.
Grace’s arrest was a result of a joint investigation by State Police Troop F’s Computer Crimes Unit, Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Liberty, Major Crimes Unit, Violent Gang Narcotic Enforcement Team and Community Stabilization Unit, and the Sullivan County District Attorney’s office, the FBI and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
The investigation was initiated by a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at Grace’s residence.
