Nashville police have arrested a suspect in connection with the July 19 homicide of a woman covered by a garbage bag on the side of a road in South Nashville.
Juan Ramiro Lopez-Navarro, 50, is charged with one count of criminal homicide after the body of Samia G. Magzaoui was found by a man out walking his dog on Knight Valley Drive near Harding Place.
Police said Magzaoui, 34, died from sharp force wounds and blunt force trauma after initially classifying her death as “suspicious.”
The medical examiner’s office was tasked with determining her identity after the body was found without identification.
Lopez-Navarro was arrested July 24.
