A Greenville man was arrested following a shooting at Wright Park late Friday that left two men injured.
The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. on Friday. Police responded to reports of a large fight followed by gunfire but when officers arrived, the scene had cleared and no victims were found.
Investigators learned that two adult male victims with gunshot wounds had arrived at Hunt Regional Medical Center in privately owned vehicles. One of the victims was later transferred to a Level 1 trauma center for advanced treatment. Their identities and current conditions have not been released.
Police said the suspected shooter – identified as Brian Anthony Kellogg – turned himself in at the Hunt County Detention Center. Officers took him into custody without incident.
Kellogg is charged with two counts of deadly conduct/discharging a firearm and his total bond was set at $50,000. He was released on Saturday while the investigation continues.
