Jun. 20—Passing a group of minors hanging out around six cars in a parking lot and holding aluminum cans in their hands, a resident decided to alert the Kalispell Police Department. The passerby told the authorities that they were unsure of what the group was consuming.
First responders headed to a commercial structure for a report of a fire in a shop attic. After searching around, though, they were unable to find a fire.
Armed with a counterfeit $100 bill, a thief made off with about $70 in food from a business. They were last seen leaving in a darker colored pickup truck with wood or building materials in the bed.
Officers moved along a man after he allegedly began hanging out in the drive through of a business and asking customers to buy items. An employee told the authorities that the man wasn’t acting aggressive but had become a nuisance.

Officers cited a motorist for driving a vehicle with broken brake lights with a suspended license, no insurance and expired registration.
After her belongings failed to show up following her move from Ohio to Montana, a newcomer to the Flathead Valley asked the police to look into the missing personal items. Officers checked in with the moving company and learned that a driver had recently died, throwing their schedule into confusion. Employees there assured the police that the goods would likely show up within the week and the customer compensated for their troubles.
