The annual Coastal Bend Area College Night Expo is scheduled for 6 p.m. Oct. 1 at Moody High School.
Representatives from numerous colleges and universities are expected to attend and will be available to speak with students and families.
The event aimed at high school students and their families is open to those from any area school.
Attendees can come and go during the course of the event, which is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be held in Moody High School’s Elizondo Gym at 1818 Trojon Drive in Corpus Christi. Parking will be available on Castenon Street.
Previous iterations of the event have been held at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The event is hosted by the Corpus Christi Independent School District.
For younger students thinking about their high school options, the district is also hosting a high expo on Oct. 8.
The Corpus Christi ISD high school expo is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Carroll High School arena located at 3202 Saratoga Blvd. in Corpus Christi.
This event is aimed at seventh through ninth grade students and their families and will feature information about the district’s programs of choice.
Certain career and technical education “programs of choice” are not hosted at every CCISD high school. For these programs, students can apply to transfer from their home campus in oder to take part.
