Sep. 13—JAMESTOWN — Three people were sentenced on felony charges recently in Southeast District Court in Jamestown.
Curtis James Anderson, 37, Jamestown, pleaded guilty to simple assault-peace officer or correctional officer and terrorizing, Class C felonies.
Anderson was accused of threatening to kill someone which caused the person to fear for his or her safety on June 30 and causing bodily injury to a correctional officer at the Stutsman County Correctional Center on July 16.
Judge Troy LeFevre sentenced Anderson to 120 days in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with 49 days credit for time served. LeFevre placed Anderson on 12 months supervised probation. Anderson is allowed work release and treatment release.
A Class C felony is punishable by five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Richard Henry Johnson, 51, Jamestown, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to register as a sexual offender, Class C felonies. Johnson was accused of being required to register as a sex offender and failing to disclose a Facebook account on his registration forms with the local law enforcement agency having local jurisdiction on May 2 and May 22.
Judge James Shockman sentenced Johnson to 90 days in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with four days credit for time served. Shockman placed Johnson on one year supervised probation and ordered him to submit to fingerprints. Johnson is allowed work release and treatment release.
Jesse Owens Johnson, 41, pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender, a Class C felony.
