While some retailers are closing locations, Trader Joe’s is continuing to open new ones.
The California-based grocery chain told USA TODAY on April 11 that it has already opened two new stores this year and announced plans for 21 more. A company spokesperson said new locations are added to the list each month.
Of the nearly two dozen stores slated to open in 2025, only one is planned for Texas: San Antonio at 11745 I-10 W.
