LAGRANGE — The LaGrange County Library offers several opportunities for the community to travel with fellow book lovers this month.

The first is a trip to Pizza Venturi, 123 E. Lincoln Ave., Goshen, for “Culinary Adventure: Neapolitan Pizza.” Attendees should meet at Venturi at noon Sept. 11.

Register at the LaGrange library or by calling 260-463-2841, ext. 1030. People ages 12 and older are permitted. Venturi was Indiana’s first certified Neapolitan pizzeria, voted one of Esquire’s top 15 most life-changing pizzas in the U.S. All food purchases will be at your own expense.

Patchwork Trails combines exercise, education, friendship and fun for an activity at Mike Metz Fen, Pine Knob Park, 2825 E. Ind. 120, Howe. No fees or registration are required, just meet at the designated starting point. People of all ages are welcome. September’s Patchwork Trails activity will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 16.

A riding tour to Three Rivers, Michigan will take place Sept. 25. The tour, Archi-Trek, leaves from LaGrange County Public Library at 8:30 a.m. with an expected return at 5 p.m. The junction of the St. Joseph, Rocky, and Portage Rivers, Three Rivers, was an ideal hub hundreds of years ago, and still is today. Culture and commerce overlap via water, rail or road. Pioneer structures, industrial and lumbering sites, and gilded age painted ladies all meet in this historic location. The cost is $10 per person. Registration is required as space is limited. Register by cash or check at the library, or online at Eventbrite.com, or by mailing a check to Green Bus Tours. Ages 12 and up are permitted.
