Milwaukee police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred on July 27 that left one teenager dead and sent two other teenagers to the hospital.
The shootings took place at approximately 10:41 p.m. near North Long Island Drive and West Custer Avenue.
A 16-year-old sustained gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another 16-year-old was transported to the hospital with non-fatal gunshot wounds, and a 17-year-old also went to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.
Police are investigating the shooting and seeking both known and unknown suspects.
This shooting comes 11 days after another teenager, a 13-year-old, died in an accidental shooting on July 16. Milwaukee police arrested two 14-year-olds in connection.
