U.S. Rep. William Timmons to host telephone town hall on President Trump’s first 100 days

Must read

U.S. Rep. William Timmons (R-SC 4th District) will host a telephone town hall at 5:45 p.m. on April 29, according to a post on his Facebook page.

“Looking forward to speaking with you and answering your questions,” Timmons said in the social post.

The timing of the telephone town hall follows recent Democratic town hall meetings and a public gathering at Wofford College by U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC 6th District), which was held last week.

In early April, a billboard near downtown Greenville was posted, challenging Rep. Timmons, claiming he had not held an in-person town hall meeting in over 1,290 days, per a report by WSPA.

“I am focused on delivering President Trump’s America First agenda, not performative gatherings,” Rep. Timmons said of past public town hall meetings.

The call for this telephone town hall came directly after President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office.

Tuesday evening’s call is expected to begin at 5:45 p.m. Individuals can sign up to speak with Rep. Timmons during the telephone town hall online. The online form will ask for your name, address, phone number, email address, and the question you would like to ask.
