Apr. 29—Viola M. Blythe Viola M. Blythe, age 93, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on April 24, 2025. Born on February 20th, 1932, Viola was a woman of unwavering faith, love and deep wisdom. A lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, she lived each day with gratitude, joy, and a servant’s heart. Her Bible was never far from reach, and her prayers lifted countless loved ones over the years. She was a true prayer warrior and intercessor. Viola (Zoni) was the proud and devoted mother of eight children, whom she raised with love, patience, tradition and purpose. Her home was a haven of warmth and welcome a place where everyone felt known and cherished. Whether through her heartfelt advice, or quiet presence, she nurtured all who came into her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years and two of her children. She is survived by six children: Mike Blythe, Mark Blythe, Teresa Blythe, Mia Meche, Monica Gelinas-Spruce and Amy Blythe, as well as 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and dear friends. Viola leaves behind a legacy not just in her family, but in all who were touched by her kindness, wisdom, steadfast faith and mentorship in the way of Jesus. Her favorite scripture:”Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10 the compass by which she lived her life. A celebration of Viola’s life will be held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Grace Fellowship Church in Los Lunas. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvery Cemetery in Albuquerque, NM. A reception will follow at the home of Mark Blythe, 1210 Rivas Road, Los Lunas NM 87031.
