Rain showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible in Greater Cincinnati this week.
National Weather Service forecasters say that a cold front will move east across the area on Monday, leading to occasional showers and a few thunderstorms through the afternoon.
Severe storms cannot be ruled out along with gusty winds and some hail, but impacts will likely be limited.
Slightly cooler and drier conditions are expected Tuesday into Wednesday. A mix of sun and clouds is expected, with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s on Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures on Wednesday will be in the mid- to upper 70s.
A warmer, more humid airmass will filter back into the region by the end of the work week, bringing showers and storms back to the area by Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will remain above normal with highs in the mid- to upper 70s.
Precipitation will taper off by Saturday morning. Weekend highs will be in the mid-60s to near 70 degrees.
