A manhunt is underway in Washington state for a Pewaukee native suspected of killing his three daughters.
Police have been searching for Travis Decker, 32, since he did not return his three daughters to their mother May 30. The three girls were found dead days afterwards in the vicinity of Decker’s truck near the Rock Island Campground, about 40 miles west of Wenatchee.

Who is Travis Decker?
Decker is a Pewaukee native living in Washington state.
As of May 30, police were looking for him after he failed to return his three daughters to their mother per a custodial arrangement. Then, as of June 3, he was named a suspect in the murders of the three girls.
At the time of the girls’ disappearance, Decker was living mostly out of his pickup truck or occasionally motels and campgrounds, police said. Authorities said he also has extensive military training and went to mountain survival school.
Decker graduated from Pewaukee High School, where he was a member of the 2010 Pewaukee wrestling team and wrestled in the state finals that year.

Has Travis Decker been charged?
Wenatchee Police Capt. Brian Chance, in a phone interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, said that Decker had not been formally charged with murder or kidnapping as of June 3.
However, a warrant has been issued for his arrest for three counts each of first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping.
What does Travis Decker look like?
Police have described Decker as a white man with black hair and brown eyes, according to USA TODAY. His height is 5’8” and he weighs 190 pounds. Decker was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts.

When did the Decker sisters disappear?
Paityn Decker, 9, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Olivia Decker, 5 were found dead in Chelan County on June 2, three days after they were reported missing, the Journal Sentinel reported.
They were found in the vicinity of Decker’s GMC Sierra truck, which authorities located on June 2 at 3:45 p.m. near the Rock Island Campground, about 40 miles west of Wenatchee. Neither Decker nor his daughters were in the truck.
The three girls likely died of asphyxiation, USA TODAY reported. Their wrists were zip tied or showed signs of being zip tied, and they were all found with a plastic bag over her head, according to the affidavit.

Wenatchee, Washington is in the north-central part of the state, about two and a half hours outside Seattle.

Authorities say Decker poses “a significant risk” and should not be approached. It is unknown if he is armed.

At noon on June 5, authorities released an update warning those who own cabins or live in remote areas of Chelan, Kittitas King, Snohomish, and Okanagan counties to be on high alert because Decker was still at large.
