There’s a chance Coldplay fans may experience a ‘Rainy Day‘ during the band’s concert at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison on July 19.
There is a 20% chance of a thunderstorm in the Madison area between 5 and 8 p.m. Skies will be partly cloudy, and the temperature is likely to remain in the upper 70s through the evening.
That’s according to Sarah Marquardt, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Sullivan.
Camp Randall’s gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m.

This is the first time Coldplay is playing in Madison. They became the first group to announce a show at Madison’s Camp Randall Stadium in nearly 28 years ― although country singer Morgan Wallen performed there just before them on June 28 and 29.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has reached out to Coldplay’s team to see what the plan is in the event of bad weather, but has not immediately heard back.
