The National Weather Service in Louisville is expecting rainy conditions to continue in the coming days, with precipitation chances ranging from 20-80% through July 22.
A hazardous weather outlook is in place for portions of southern Indiana and central Kentucky, with storm systems expected to bring gusty winds, torrential rainfall and lightning. Here’s what the forecast shows.

Friday
The chance of precipitation is 40-60% with showers and possible thunderstorms. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible during the day and evening hours, with higher amounts of rainfall possible if it thunderstorms. Light south winds are expected with a high near 88 and low around 75.
Saturday
There is a 60-80% chance of precipitation with showers and thunderstorms possible. New rainfall amounts of between a quarter and a half of an inch are possible during the day with between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible overnight. Southwest winds of 3-7 mph are expected with a high near 89 and low around 75.
Sunday
There is a 60-70% chance of precipitation with showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2 p.m. and before 8 p.m. New rainfall amounts of between a tenth and a quarter of an inch are possible during the day and evening hours. Partly sunny skies will turn mostly cloudy with a high near 90 and low around 74.
Monday
Precipitation chances are 60% with showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 p.m. and before 8 p.m. Partly sunny skies become mostly cloudy with a high near 88 and low around 73.
