Is it summer yet? Not quite, but Kentucky is getting closer to summer-like weather.
Despite cool and rainy conditions persisting into Friday, Louisville is poised to climb out of the 70s and into the 80s by this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

As of Tuesday, meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Louisville predict temperatures will climb into the 80s beginning Saturday. The high is expected to reach 81 with a low of 59 on Saturday night.
