Which food trucks will battle for your hunger in Round 3?

Must read

The tongue is a sword, and dozens of Delaware’s roaming restaurants want you to slice your way through their menu items seasoned for slaying.  We are on a mouthwatering mission this summer, seeking to find the First State’s best food truck. What started as 40 wheel warriors have since boiled down to roving culinary bosses, as Round 3 of the Delaware Food Truck Frenzy runs from July 29 to Aug. 3.

Let’s roll through how this delicious battle works: Each week, five mobile kitchens rumble in a friendly cook-off, but only one from the group will advance — based on reader votes.    Once the top eight street-food slingers have secured their spots, the final voting begins, and readers will praise the one truck they believe is Delaware’s fiercest food fighter.

This battle began July 15, and readers can now vote for their favorite food truck each week, Tuesdays through Sundays, until one winner is chosen.  With Round 2 in the rearview, here’s a look at who survived that round, contestants for Round 3, and more.

Who survived Round 2 of Delaware Food Truck Frenzy?

Delaware Provision Company is the winner of Round 2, becoming the second truck in the contest to sew up a spot as one of the Top 8 finalists in the Food Truck Frenzy, along with The Plum Pit Food Truck (from Round 1).

The Top 8 will fight it out after Round 8 ends.

Meanwhile, the feisty trucks that got eliminated in Round 2 are Flavor’D-ish, Bul Jang BBQ, Changing Mains, and BlueHen BBQ.
