Jul. 16—ASOTIN — A 65-year-old Wyoming woman is being held in the Asotin County Jail without bond on felony charges related to the stabbing of her brother at Motel 6.
Phyllis K. Krogman made her first Asotin County court appearance Tuesday and has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder, according to Prosecutor Curt Liedkie.
Mrs. Krogman is accused of encouraging and helping orchestrate her husband’s alleged knife attack against her brother Daniel Henry, 72, on June 2 at Motel 6 in Clarkston.
According to the probable-cause affidavit, Mrs. Krogman allegedly wanted revenge for family sexual abuse allegations that occurred when the stabbing victim was 10 years old.
Her husband, Thomas Krogman, 68, is facing attempted murder charges and also is being held without bond. Police say he drove 13 hours from Gillette, Wyo., to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, bought a Lewiston High School sweatshirt and walked into the Motel 6 lobby where Henry was working behind the counter.
