EXETER — New Hampshire State Police are asking the public for dash camera footage as they investigate back-to-back Route 101 incidents in which the occupants of a suspect vehicle shattered the windows of two passing westbound cars.
The mirroring June 5 incidents occurred 20 minutes apart, according to state police. The first report from Exeter came in at 9:40 p.m., followed by a call describing a similar narrative from victims in Auburn at 10 p.m.
New Hampshire State Police are investigating a pair of incidents on Route 101.
Tyler Dumont, a state police spokesperson, said how the glass was broken in both vehicles remains under investigation.
“In both incidents, the victims were driving in the right lane when the occupants of a passing vehicle caused the windows of the victim’s vehicles to shatter,” state police said in a press release. “Two juvenile passengers in one of the damaged vehicles suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital for a precautionary medical evaluation. Troopers secured both crime scenes and detectives responded to the scene to process evidence and interview witnesses.”

State police are still probing how many perpetrators were involved, according to Dumont.
Police and fire crews from Auburn and Candia assisted state police in the initial investigation.
