Another fatal stabbing has occurred in the City of Poughkeepsie.
At 1:19 p.m. Monday, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing at 2 Oak Crescent.
According to a City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Detective Division news release shared on the City of Poughkeepsie PBA Facebook page, police found Olga Hinds-Coley, 78, at the scene with a stab wound to the chest.

Hinds-Coley was transported for medical treatment, but later pronounced dead.
Hinds-Coley’s daughter, 50-year-old Denise Gilpin, was taken into custody and has been charged with second-degree murder.
Police said the stabbing is not related to the April 5 fatal stabbing of a 51-year-old man near Cannon Street. There is no known threat to the public, police said.
