You can get a scoop of Culver’s frozen custard for just $1 on May 1.

It’s the 11th annual Scoops of Thanks Day at Culver’s. In exchange for a $1 donation, Culver’s customers will get a scoop of frozen custard. All proceeds benefit local chapters of the National Future Farmers of America Organization.

FFA is a school-based youth organization that provides students with agricultural, career and leadership education opportunities.

Since 2013, Scoops of Thanks Day events have raised more than $1 million as part of Culver’s Thank You Farmers Project, a news release said. Culver’s said over 169,400 scoops were served as part of the 2024 event.

“We’re proud to support the hard-working students and educators shaping the future of agriculture,” Culver’s senior marketing and public relations manager Alison Demmer said in the news release.

A limited-edition flavor of the day, “How Now Brown Cow,” will be available on May 1. It’s chocolate frozen custard infused with Culver’s root beer, chopped Dove Chocolate and chocolate cake pieces.

Guests can choose between How Now Brown Cow, chocolate or vanilla for their $1 scoop on Thursday. According to Culver’s, you can order your $1 scoop through the Culver’s website or app or by visiting a participating location.
