A young man between the age of 20 and 18 was killed early Sunday in Apopka, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 3:30 a.m., deputies responded to a call near the intersection on East Ella J. Gilmore Street and Clarcona Road and found the young man with obvious signs of trauma, the Sheriff’s Office said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.
It’s unclear what signs of trauma he displayed but the agency called his death a homicide.
The Sheriff’s Office said it is still in the early stages of the investigation and had nothing further to release at this time.
