Plano Fourth of July Parade presented by Rotary clubs of Plano: Starting at 7:30 p.m. on July 4, the parade runs from Spring Creek Parkway to First United Methodist Church.
The All-American 4th festival at Oak Point Event Field (2801 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano) from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. offers games, food, drinks, and a 9:30 p.m. fireworks show. Free.
Enjoy a bring-your-own picnic under the trees at Haggard Park while listening to the Patriotic Pops Concert in the Park on July 3 from 7 p.m.to 8 p.m. The all-volunteer Plano Community Band will perform a tribute to all branches of the armed forces.
July 4th Parade, Historic Downtown Waxahachie: This free annual parade travels from Getzendaner Park down Main Street, featuring vintage trucks. July 4 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at South Elm Street and West Main Street, Waxahachie.
Arlington Independence Day Parade: Billed as Texas’ largest Fourth of July parade, this year’s “Shining Bright Since ’65” theme marks its Diamond Jubilee. July 4 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at West and Mitchell streets. Free.
4th of July Independence Day Celebration, Rockwall: The parade starts at 11 a.m. on July 4 at Wilkerson Stadium, ending at Dobbs Elementary at noon. Evening festivities at Harry Myers Park (815 E. Washington St.) will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and include live music, parachute jumpers, food trucks, and fireworks. Free.
Fireworks on the Fairway in Frisco: Live music from Emerald City Band and Downtown Fever, food trucks, and a fireworks and drone show light up the PGA District (3255 PGA Parkway, Frisco). July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets: $24.76.
Denton Jubilee Festival and Drone Show: This free, family-friendly event at Quakertown Park (700 Oakland St., Denton) features live music, jumping balloons, games, a hot dog eating contest, and a drone show. July 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Fourth of July in Duncanville: Armstrong Park (100 James Collins Blvd.) offers vendors, live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and fireworks. Registration required. July 4 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free. Start the day off by attending the Independence Day Parade, which circles the park beginning at 9 a.m., presented by the Duncanville Lions Club.
Sensory Sensitive 4th of July Celebration: Designed for veterans, pets, and individuals with autism, this event at The Sound at Cypress Waters (3111 Olympus Blvd., Dallas) features live music by Taylor Swift tribute band Reputation, a calm zone, face painting, and balloon art, with no fireworks. July 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Free.
Red, White & Blues Music Fest: Local blues artists, headlined by Jimmy Wallace and the Stratoblasters, perform at Tupps Brewery (402 E Louisiana St., Building 2, McKinney). Bring a chair or blanket. Food is available at Grain Room Taproom and Kitchen. July 5 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Free.
Star Spangled Spectacular: The Dallas Winds perform a patriotic concert at Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center (2301 Flora St., Dallas), with hot dogs, ice cream, and indoor fireworks viewing. July 4 at 1 p.m. Tickets: $35-$81.
Red, White & Lewisville: Wayne Ferguson Plaza (150 W. Church St.) features live music by Kate Watson and The 8Tracks, a drone show, and fireworks. Shuttle parking at Electric Cowboy (1165 S. Stemmons Fwy.). July 1 from 6:30 p.m. Free.
Red White & You Garland: Downtown Garland Square hosts live music by American Bombshells and Q the Band, a carnival, food trucks, and fireworks. July 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Free.
Kaboom Town!: Addison Circle Park’s renowned 25-minute fireworks show, rated among the best by USA Today, includes an airshow with skydivers, historic planes, and stunt pilots, plus live music, food, and beverages. July 3 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Free.
Frisco Roughriders Stars and Stripes Night: At 7300 Rough Riders Trl., Frisco, enjoy baseball, fireworks, drink specials, and a $25 Twisted Tea Rowdy @ the River promotion with lazy river access. July 3 at 6:05 p.m.
Sparks and Stripes Fourth of July Celebration: Enjoy two days of festivities in Irving, beginning with music, a drone show, and fireworks on July 3 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Levy Event Plaza. On July 4, take in a parade, live music, and other activities at Heritage Park from 9 a.m. to noon. All events are free. Thursday’s drone show and fireworks will also be live-streamed on YouTube beginning at 6 p.m. for those unable to attend in person.
Carrollton Independence Day Fireworks Show: A no-frills fireworks display at Josey Ranch Lake, best viewed from Josey Ranch Athletic Complex, Jimmy Porter Park, or near Keller Springs Road. July 3, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Free. The entire family is invited to enjoy an Independence Day Concert earlier in the day at the Carrollton Senior Center (1720 Keller Springs Rd.) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fort Worth’s Fourth at Panther Island: Purportedly the biggest fireworks show and Independence Day celebration in the DFW metroplex, this event kicks off at 5 p.m. on July 4 with food, drinks, kids’ activities, and live music. The evening culminates in an incredible fireworks show along the banks of the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion. Admission is free.
