May 10—Dayton Molzen Dayton Molzen, age 99, passed away on April 18, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 6, 1926, to Walter and Ionia Molzen in Newton, KS. He married Margaret Jean (Marjean) Hanna on August 13, 1949. A veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict, he earned his civil engineering degree from Kansas State University and opened the engineering firm Molzen Corbin (originally called DF Molzen and Associates) in Albuquerque in 1960. Dayton was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and lived life to the fullest. Dayton was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Marjean. He is survived by his son, George Molzen and his wife, Judy Hardage, of Ashland, Oregon; his daughter Lucena Pape and her husband West Pape of Round Rock, Texas; three grandchildren, John (Kathryn) Pape, Jennifer (Sascha) Terry, and Jessica Molzen; as well as 7 great-grandchildren.
