Two Nashua residents were arrested Monday after allegedly racing at speeds exceeding 100 mph on the F.E. Everett Turnpike, according to New Hampshire State Police.
A state trooper patrolling the southbound lanes in Nashua about noon Monday observed two vehicles — a black Hyundai Elantra and a black Acura TLX — traveling at high speed, according to Troop B.
Trooper Ryan Harkonen stopped both vehicles near mile marker 1 and the drivers were identified as Calexis Gonzalez, 30, and Ruben Ceballos, 21, both Nashua residents.
The drivers were arrested and charged with reckless operation. They were released on personal recognizance bail and are scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court at a later date.
