A sports car driver who is accused of trying to hit an El Paso police officer while repeatedly running from police is the target of Crime Stoppers of El Paso’s Crime of the Week.
Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to identify the driver of a silver Nissan 370Z who is suspected in at least three felony vehicle evading cases within six months.

An unidentified driver, who has a cheek piercing, of a silver Nissan 370Z wanted by El Paso police for allegedly fleeing from police on repeat occasions, including allegedly attempting to hit an officer on March 28, 2025.
The car has New Mexico license plates and a visible Texas registration sticker on its windshield.
First incident, 12:15 a.m. Oct. 11, 2024: El Paso police officers pulled over the Nissan 370Z at Lee Trevino Drive and Vista Del Sol Drive in the East Side. The driver “suddenly fled” during the traffic stop, Crime Stoppers stated.

About 4:30 p.m. March 22, 2025: A police officer stopped the same car for a traffic violation in the 4100 block of Rich Beem Boulevard, near Montana Avenue in the far East Side. The driver again fled during the traffic stop, Crime Stoppers said.
March 28: Aware of the prior escapes, police spotted the car and attempted to arrest the driver in the 400 block of Tays Street in the Segundo Barrio. The car drove onto landscaping and alleged drove toward an officer before fleeing, Crime Stoppers said.

Anyone with information on the driver may anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 915-566-8477 (TIPS) or leave a tip online at cselpaso.org. Tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward if information leads to an arrest.
