Apr. 15—PRICEVILLE — A Montgomery man on felony probation was arrested Monday night after a Priceville traffic stop turned up unprescribed medication, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded firearm he was legally barred from possessing, according to police.
Police said they conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Point Mallard Parkway and Marsha Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. Monday and deployed the K-9 Unit.
Police said the driver, 24-year-old Jamari Aikens, is a convicted felon on felony probation out of Tennessee with a violent criminal history and is not allowed to possess a firearm. He was arrested and charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, illegal possession of prescription drugs and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Aikens was transported to Morgan County Jail and, because of his criminal history, a no-bond hold was placed on him pending a review of his probationary status, according to Priceville police.
