A pair of TikTokers documented their stay in Shreveport, video from 2023 shows it was not the pair’s first time in the city.
Josh Cauldwell-Clarke and Jason (Jase) Riley, British TikTokkers, posted a video four days ago on their TikTok account @JoshandJase with the caption, “We are SPEECHLESS… “
The video followed the pair through an outdated and disorganized hotel in Shreveport. Clarke stated, “We may have just booked the worst hotel in America.”
The influencers chose Shreveport because they were told it is the third most populated city in Louisiana. While there, they claimed that the hotel they booked felt dangerous.

Clarke even added, “Every American that heard about this said, ‘get out of Shreveport right now.'”
Since posting the original video, Cauldwell-Clark and Riley received an ofrom Lake ffeCharles, where they stayed at L’Auberge casino and ate crawfish and poboys, and Lafayette, where they also sought food recommendations.
Although the pair appears shocked by the city in the video, evidence suggests that they visited Shreveport in May 2023.

On May 5, 2023, Clarke and Riley posted a video with the caption “Brits try Cajun Crawfish for the first time…”
This video was taken inside Shreveport’s Crawdaddy’s Kitchen on Mansfield Road.
In the video, a television displays advertisements for a home listing in Shreveport, a concert at The Strand Theatre, and St. Joseph’s School. Also, in a quick Google image of Crawdaddy’s Kitchen, the pair’s background matches the interior of the restaurant.
Just two years later, the pair decided to travel from Houston, Texas, to Shreveport, staying at “the worst hotel in America.” This video has garnered over 1.5 million views and more than 13,000 comments.

Following the ‘worst hotel’ video, the pair drove three hours, from Shreveport to Lake Charles, Louisiana, to stay at the L’Auberge Casino Resort when the vice president of marketing at the hotel invited them to stay.
While in Lake Charles, they went to a Mac’s Deli restaurant and filmed themselves eating crawfish. The pair titled this video “Brits Eat Cajun Food in Louisiana.”
Cauldwell-Clarke posted to his Facebook page, Josh from England, saying, “Had my first crawfish boil today and when that cajun spice hit my british tastebuds, I could NOT handle it!!!”
The Times reached out to Cauldwell-Clarke and Riley via direct messages but did not receive a response.
